You’ll never understand me. I contradict myself regularly because everything in this world, as far as I’m concerned, is subjective and situational. I make choices based on my gut, and I will never do anything I don’t want to do.
Common misconceptions about me? That I’m full of myself and high-maintenance. Honestly, they couldn’t be further from the truth.
I don’t put stock in my physical appearance—it’s just the genetics my parents passed on. What I do take pride in is my intelligence and my humor.
And as far as being high-maintenance—HA! Try to find a girl more low-maintenance than me. I just have no reservations about asking for what I want and am fully open to being rejected. You’ll never have what you want if you don’t have the balls to demand it.
I am who I am. I won’t be jaded or apologize for it. But I’ve had enough people take advantage of my kindness. Worse still are those who pretend to be my friend, harboring ulterior motives and hoping something will change.
So tell me—can you be my friend without any designs?
If not, I tip my hat to you and sincerely hope you find whatever it is you’re looking for.
